ORANGE COUNTY PARKS | TUSTIN, CA

The proposed regional park is located on an 84.5-acre parcel of land at the Former Marine Corp Air Station Tustin to be conveyed by the Department of the Navy to the County of Orange for park purposes. The property includes the historic North Blimp Hangar.

Regional Park Criteria from OC General Plan:

+ Sufficient size to provide diverse activities and ensure accessibility.

+ Countywide significance due to recreational and/or scenic attractions (unavailable in local parks).

+ Special importance due to historic, scientific, educational, special resource, or revenue producing reasons.

+ System-wide importance due to link ages with other parks via the regional trail system.
